E. Staples replaced A. Balfe on Whiskey Serenade (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell (Race 2)(injury).R. Deegan rode Houndsworth (reserve) trained by Mark Michael McNiff (Race 2).
J. Coen rode Euro Maker (reserve) trained by Adrian Murray (Race 2).
076A Leisure Dome Ltd. Marquee Hire Mdn H'dle
J. Coen, rider of Nopresentliketime, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left throughout.
076B Finbarr Quaid Electrical H'cap H'dleG. Brouder, rider of Tea It Is, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the first hurdle down the back and ran out of room.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mark Michael McNiff, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Houndsworth, placed first, as compared with its recent form. An Authorised Representative of Mark Michael McNiff reported that this was the animal's first run following wind surgery which may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form today. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content.
076C Coolmore N.H. Sires Kyprios Hcap S'chThe Raceday Stewards fined Michael Winters, trainer €65 for failing to fit the declared cheek pieces to River Vale prior to entering the parade ring.
076E John Thomas McNamara Mdn Hunters S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from Paul Stafford, trainer of Lawful Ruler, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i).
Mr E. Mahon, rider of Hearts And Spades (FR), trained by Ian John McCarthy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen.
076F Jack Tyner Memorial Hunters S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Mr S.J. Kenny, rider of In Excelsis Deo (FR), placed sixth, weighed in at 159.6lbs having weighed out at 161.0lbs, meaning he was 1.4lbs light. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had lost his non slip pad at some stage and was unaware it was missing when weighing in. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards disqualified In Excelsis Deo (FR) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 231(i) (weighed in more than 1lbs light) and having considered his clean record in this regard, The Raceday Stewards cautioned Mr S.J. Kenny on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Kill Vanhowe (FR), ridden by Miss M. O'Sullivan, placed second and Zambezi Moon, ridden by Mr C.J. Shine, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss M. O'Sullivan stated that she maintained her line and felt that there was no gap. Mr C.J. Shine stated that his mount was green and jinked when reacting to a strike and consequently bounced off of Kill Vanhowe (FR). Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Mr C.J. Shine in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Boundfornowhere, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
